I can't even make it past Hard cause I keep getting smacked. Anybody have a good class/perk selection that's helped them? I already have all upgrades and classes.

I run Engineer as the drones are useful to distract enemies, especially if you get the Dronezerker perk as you go. This increases how much enemies pay attention to them.

A lot of people on the subreddit swear by the upgraded buddybot but I've never seen it have much impact. I'm up to Guardian 2 at the moment and I've been using the same build each time.

Look for a Rhino LMG + Ionic Sniper. You want to be taking every perk that increases your firerate. Stacking firerate cards makes the LMG monstrous and the Ionic sniper basically becomes a machine gun with high firerate. Also benefical to grab any critical damage cards if you see them. Keep an eye out for "Strawberries" as this increases your crit damage by an extra 30% every time you have crits.

Route wise is personal preference but I'd strongly recommend going via Oasis as the NPC you gave the swimming trunks too previously has 2 legendary perks to choose from for free every run. If you happen to get the one that gives you an extra life or the invincibility bubble one, it can save your run.

From my previous Guardian runs I found the hardest parts to be Fields, as I felt slightly underpowered compared to the enemies, especially the big flying guys. Also the first room on the Moon actively shreds me still in some runs. You need to be ready to use the grappling hook/jetpack the second you enter that room.

A lot of people on the subreddit swear by the upgraded buddybot but I've never seen it have much impact. I'm up to Guardian 3 at the moment and I've been using the same build each time.

It's awesome seeing people help out :)

Always happy to help. It's not a set in stone way to do it though. Open to seeing other builds that people have tried and tested ^^

Buddybot had an exploit that would give it a huge damage boost, they patched it though. Beyond that having a couple extra drones is the only benefit I see to using it. I'll try your build and see how I do. Thanks.

Just an update for this for anyone reading in future, I'd recommend going for the Drone Family perk before Dronezerker. I didnt think this was great initially given how quick the drones die BUT if you get the perk that gives the drones a shield every time you use deploy, they will never go down. Did this on G2 and never replaced them once.

Then just stack shock damage on everything and go for 2x heavy weapons. I found the Rhino LMG and Voltaic Cannon the best, especially when they have a firerate boost but you can probs make any heavy work provided you have the perk that increases their dmg by 15%.

For P2 on last boss, when it spams lasers at you, just turn to the edge of the arena and grapple as high as you can. Then feather the jetpack until this attack stops. This went from making P2 a total nightmare to almost hitless for me.

Slight tweak route wise as well. Still go Oasis for the legendary but make a detour into the Doom Gardens that you can access through the halfway room in Fields, it makes the route overall longer which means more level gain as you do this followed by Aqua Station.
