The outside and entrance of the Cave contains a good amount of Stone, Iron, Granite and Copper deposits. Inside the cave, players can find the Pickaxe Shop, where they can purchase pickaxes and utilities of varying quality.

It cannot be refined and cannot be turned into Burnt by the Atom-8 Furnace. It appears jet-black in color and looks very similar to Burnt, except slightly darker. Coal's main purpose is for crafting Steel via the Merger Unit 230.
